The Texas Madrone… “the sacred tree of the Hill Country”, dating to ancient times in the Trans-Pecos mountains and Edwards Plateau. Their smooth cinnamon-brown bark has given them the name “Lady’s Legs” and “Naked Indians”. Sketched west of Dripping Springs, Texas.
